The Punjab government has opened applications for Batch III of the CM Punjab Climate Leadership Development Internship Programme (Phase II). The initiative is aimed at young graduates who want practical experience in climate action and environmental work. Selected interns will receive Rs60,000 per month for three months.

What the Programme Offers
The internship combines training, field experience and mentorship. Participants will get access to a Learning Management System (LMS), district-based learning opportunities and UNCC Certification.
They will also get exposure to EPA field offices and different units of the Environment Protection and Climate Change Department (EP&CCD), including strategic development, communication and climate policy. A Capstone Project and expert mentorship are also part of the programme.
Selection will be carried out through an automatic merit-based system. The government has reserved 50% of seats for female students and has also set a special quota for foreign graduates.
