Punjab Police Recovered 500+ Stolen Vehicles In 20 Days

Theft of cars and motorcycles is prevalent in Punjab, particularly in Lahore. Punjab Police is deploying its most capable officers to combat crime and recover stolen automobiles. Punjab’s Anti-Vehicles Lifting Staff (AVLS) has caught car and motorcycle theft gangs and recovered more than 500 stolen vehicles in just 20 days, according to a recent development.

The Punjab Police is working on the vision of Additional Inspector General (IG) Fayyaz Ahmad, according to SP AVLS Aftab Phularwan.

The Punjab Police Department recently held a news conference to return stolen vehicles to their owners. SP Phularwan told the reporters after the press conference that the police had issued 592 challans and recovered stolen vehicles worth Rs. 3 crore and 72 lac.

As part of this goal, Shahzada Sultan, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Investigations, has collaborated with the police force to develop an action plan to ensure citizens’ safety by recovering their stolen properties.
