Punjab Police spent more than Rs. 970 million on welfare initiatives for serving and retired personnel, as well as the families of police employees, during the current fiscal year. The funds were utilized to provide financial assistance, medical support, educational aid, and other welfare benefits aimed at improving the well-being of police officers and their dependents.
According to official figures, the welfare measures covered a wide range of services, including grants for families of deceased personnel, healthcare assistance, and support for children’s education. The initiative reflects the department’s continued focus on strengthening social protection and financial security for members of the police force and their families across Punjab.
