Twenty-one employees of the University of the Punjab were injured after their bus met with an accident near Balakot while they were returning to Lahore from a recreational trip to Kaghan Valley.
The bus was travelling on the Mansehra–Naran–Jalkhad Road when it reportedly went off the road and fell into a ravine.
Rescue 1122 teams quickly reached the accident site after receiving the emergency call. Multiple ambulances were sent to the area, and rescue workers safely evacuated all the injured passengers. They were then transported to hospitals in Balakot and Mansehra, where they received immediate medical care.
Hospital officials confirmed that all 21 injured employees were admitted for treatment. According to the latest reports, all of them are in stable condition and are receiving the necessary medical attention. Doctors continue to monitor their health and provide the required care.
