Qatar Airways Flight from Delhi Makes Emergency landing at Karachi Airport

Due to an issue, international flight that was heading back to Doha from New Delhi had to make an emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport Karachi on Monday.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority, when the problem happened in the aircraft Airbus 150, Qatar Airways’ flight no QR-579 was near Karachi, which caused smoke to fill in one of its cabins. It compelled the fire emergency.

The aircraft was at a height of 40,000 feet, Sources that were close to the matter said.

They further said that when the Qatar Airways flight was attempting to make an emergency landing, a flight from Doha, bound to land in Karachi, had to continue passing overhead for some time.

Many other aeroplanes that included Air Lanka’s UL-183, flying to Karachi, had to put it on hold to board because of the emergency.

According to reports, Airbus 150 was parked on runway no 1 of the Jinnah International Airport and its passengers were moved to a transit lounge.
