Rain and thundershowers are likely to occur in Karachi during the next 24 hours.
According to the Meteorological Department, light and moderate rain is expected in the city during the day.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz said that rain is expected in the suburbs of Karachi today, surjani town, Hub, Gadap, Bahria Town and Gulshan Hadid may receive rain.
The weather analyst said that 2 to 3 heavy rain spells may also occur in some places of Karachi, 30 to 50 mm of rain may occur in Karachi.
The chief meteorologist said that the rain in Karachi today may be light to moderate, clouds are likely to form by 2 pm.
He also said that if the thunderstorm clouds become strong, there will be a possibility of thunderstorm and hailstorm, but there is no possibility of any severe weather conditions in Karachi.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, Matiari, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Sajawal, Dadu, Jamshoro, Kambar Shahdadkot, Larkana, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Kashmore and Sukkur from tomorrow to May 1.
