The former Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, Ramiz Raja condemned Najam Sethi, the current Chairman of PCB for discriminating between local and foreign coaches.
Najam Sethi recently appointed BradBurn as the head coach as well as stated that the local coaches promote nepotism as it is in ‘Our Culture’ reflecting towards their non-professionalism.
In response, Ramiz Raja has given the statement, expressing his disagreement that PCB must utilize the potentials of local coaches and respect them even if they are not hired. He further commented about BradBurn’s lack of experience in different cricket circuits.
He claimed that PCB has appointed him based on his ‘skin color’ and so they deduce that there would not be any ‘politics’. Ramiz Raja also said that any person with ‘low-level mindset’ can be of such opinion.
Najam Sethi’s appointment of foreign coaches for many roles has resulted in disappointment among local coaches as evident by these remarks.
