The Punjab government has approved a grant of Rs 280 million to convert the premises of the Lahore High Court to solar energy.
Solar energy will save Rs 40 million annually in electricity bills in Lahore High Court.
The main reason behind this is to reduce Electricity costs. The electricity load on LESCO will be reduced by 40% by transferring the Lahore High Court to solar power.
