According to the sources, SBP- State Bank of Pakistan has released the recent figures of total transactions that were carried out through ATMs during the end of Ramazan as in Eid-ul-Fitr holidays noting at a 98% usage of the transaction facility from banks to banking consumers.
SBP in collaboration with the commercial banks said that it has taken many steps to ensure the maximum availability of the notes at ATM and ATM-related services for its customers especially during the month of Ramadan and the long holidays that including Eid and the other festivals.
According to the reports, “A record total of about Rs827.2 billion had been withdrawn through the transactions of 63.2 million during the month of Ramadan and Eid holidays.”
