Russia Allows Import of Rice from Pakistan

Abdul Razak Dawood, the Adviser to the PM on Commerce and Investment has recently announced that Russia has allowed Pakistan to export the rice to Russia.

He shared a tweet on Twitter, by stating that, “Breakthrough in the Rice Exports, we are glad to share that the Russia has allowed import of Pakistan’s rice from 11th June 2021.”

However, he also added that “Initially four firms have been allowed and more will be allowed right after virtual inspection by the Russian Authorities which will be coordinated by the DPP.”
