Among, the most renowned ans prestigious universities of Russia, People’s friendly University Moscow, and Punjab University (PU) have decided together, to grant Scholarships to Punjab University’s most brilliant students.
In Consideration, of Pakistan’s and Russia’s extended strategic Relationships, the agreement is meant to be very important. The inauguration ceremony was being conducted by the Vice office chancellor. Several personalities, joined the Ceremony including Prof. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar, Pro-rector of People’s friendly University (RUDN) Dr Efremova Larissa, Chief of the Office for European and American Countries Ms Anastasia V Gurova, PU Director External Links Dr Sobia Khurram and deans of various other institutions.
According to the Agreement, the brilliant students of The University of Russia will be awarded with Scholarships, Dr. Efremova Larissa, Mentioned during her presentation that she is wishing to initiate a Summer School Program for the PU students in Russia. She highlighted the hope for Teacher and Student Exchange program to begin in both the universities. According to her, she was seeking to develop relationships and institutions in Pakistan, Iran and Turkey. According to Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar the Russian University will enhance the strategic relationships.
The University of Veterinary and Animal sciences, conducted a two-day flower show, in Prof. Dr Akram Educational Complex Ravi Campus in Pattoki, which is a city enriched with nurseries and flowers.
In the Show, there was a huge amount of indoor plants, seasonal flowers and vases. The leading staff members, including Dr. Nasim Ahmed, UVAS Vice Chancellor, joined the Ceremony and complimented Principal Officer Ravi Campus Dr Arshad Javid and Horticulturist Muhammad Saeed Ahmed for, efficiently conducting the ceremony. Meanwhile, on the Ceremony a farmer Training theme session named “Innovative Floriculture Production Techniques” was also being conducted. This learning Curriculum was a part of Punjab Govt-Policy service to produce “Model Farms in Pakistan.”
