On Friday, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak said that in next budget, the government will raise the salaries of government employees. Chairing a meeting of the Grand Alliance of All Government Employees on raising salaries and benefits, he said that the government truly believes in the welfare of workers for which all facilities will be provided.
“We have big hearts and in the upcoming budget, we will take special care of government employees,” the minister stated.
He said that income inequalities will be resolved and pay and pension commission guidelines will be confirmed soon.
He said the government has set up a pay and pension commission for government employees’ welfare.
