Saud Shakeel Becomes 1st Batsman in 146-Year History of Test Cricket to Score 20 or More Runs in 15 Consecutive Innings from Debut

Saud Shakeel has done something amazing in cricket – he’s the first player ever to score 20 or more runs in 15 innings in a row right from the start of his Test career.

This historic record was set during Pakistan’s second innings in the Perth Test, where they were trying to chase a target of 450 runs. Saud outdid the previous record held by Sir Everton Weekes, who had a streak of 14 innings.

Not too long ago, Saud Shakeel had already made headlines by being the first batter in Test history to score at least fifty runs in each of his first seven Tests. This achievement put him ahead of cricket legends like Sunil Gavaskar and Basil Butcher. Quite an impressive start to his Test career!
