The government of Saudia has banned the abaya in examination halls.
The Saudi Education and Training Evaluation Commission – responsible for accrediting educational and training systems, along with the Ministry of Education shared a statement that female students are not allowed to wear abaya in examination halls.
It was confirmed by ETEC that female students would wear uniforms in examination halls, added further that uniform should adhere to public decency regulations.
