Qiddiya City has revealed plans for the world’s first gaming and esports district, aiming to make Saudi Arabia a major hub for the industry.
This district is part of Qiddiya City’s transformation into a destination for entertainment and sports. It will have four advanced esports venues capable of hosting big global events.
These venues can accommodate a total of 73,000 people, and one of them will have the world’s largest indoor LED screen in an esports arena. Qiddiya City wants to support a lively esports community by offering facilities for up to 25 clubs and serving as the regional headquarters for more than 30 video game companies.
