Saudi Citizens no longer need Singapore visa

Singapore, a flourishing international metropolis, offers a high-tech transit and government system as well as comfort of life, notably in terms of housing. Five million people live in the 710 square kilometer city-state, which is home to four major ethnic groups: Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Eurasian.

Saudi people holding passports issued by the Kingdom would no longer require an entrance visa as of 1 June 2023, according to a statement from the Singapore Embassy in Riyadh.

According to a tweet from the embassy, the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) has made a judgement in this respect.

According to a statement from the embassy, all other Saudi citizens must apply for an entrance visa if they want to enter Singapore before June 1, 2023, with the exception of those with diplomatic passports from Saudi Arabia, who are currently free from the need.

The embassy made it clear that anyone who has already applied for an entrance visa or received notification of the outcome of their application would not be eligible for a refund of their visa processing expenses.
