MBS is slated to engage in discussions with Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, and other top officials during his visit.

Originally scheduled for early September, MBS notably bypassed his anticipated stopover in Islamabad, concluding his visit to India following the G-20 summit. The deep-rooted and enduring friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is underpinned by shared religious, economic, and geopolitical ties. Both nations share a common bond through Islam, fostering significant economic cooperation.

As MBS’s visit unfolds, it not only reaffirms these historical connections but also holds the promise of further strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The visit of Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to South Asia marks a pivotal moment in the diplomatic landscape of the region. As historical allies, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have the opportunity to reinforce their bonds and explore new avenues of collaboration, potentially contributing to regional stability and prosperity.
