Shahid Afridi Resigns from PCB’s Management Committee

Shahid Afridi, a former captain of Pakistan who was most recently appointed Interim Chief Selector of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Management Committee, has left his position.

Due to a lack of meeting time, Sana Mir and Arif Saeed, two other members of the interim Management Committee for the Pakistan Cricket Board, joined Afridi in resigning. The reinstatement of chief selector Haroon Rashid into the MC has raised questions about a possible conflict of interest.

Afridi, Mir, and Saeed had previously stated their inability to attend meetings in the first meeting in December, according to MC Chairman Najam Sethi.
