Shahid Afridi sets Record of Worst Bowling Spell in PSL

Shahid Afridi, Pakistan’s star all-rounder was unable to bowl up to par, setting a new record for the worst bowling stint in Pakistan Super League (PSL) history.

During Quetta Gladiators’ match against Islamabad United at the National Stadium in Karachi, Shahid Afridi establishes a new PSL record for most runs conceded.

The former Pakistan captain bowled four overs in total, conceding 67 runs and taking only one wicket. His most costly over was the last (20th), in which he gave up 20 runs.

Quetta’s bowlers, like Afridi’s, were unable to contain the United hitters, allowing them to set a mammoth 230-run goal.

Zafar Gohar of Islamabad United formerly held the record for surrendering the most runs (65).
