Dr. Muhammed Aasim, the Chief Medical Officer while communicating in the press conference that was organized for the launch of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust’s “Zakat Campaign” unveiled that the existing year campaign is entitled as “Our Children Insist on Living.”
It is basically an appeal to the locals of the country to give their Zakat and Donations to the Shaukat Khanum Trust. This Zakat given by public will help the patients of cancer to get a better treatment and a healthy life.
However, he also said that they are not only focusing on just saving the lives of people but also on saving lives while maintaining the quality of life to enhance the patient’s dignity that is what they do to make their patients satisfied with their lives.
