Ship Carrying 50,000 Metric Tonnes Wheat from Russia Reaches Gawadar

The first of the nine ships bringing 50,000 metric tonnes of wheat from Russia to Pakistan arrived at the Gwadar port, according to Pasand Khan Buledi, chairman of the Gwadar Port Authority (GPA).


According to Buledi, preparations had already been made under a contract between the Gwadar International Terminal Ltd (GITL) and the Trade Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) to manage the import of wheat.


9 ships will convey the 450,000 metric tonnes of wheat that Pakistan will import. He announced that the first ship, the MV Leela Chennai, which was carrying 50,000 metric tonnes of wheat, had arrived at Gwadar port.
