Shoaib Malik Marries Actress Sana Javed

Shoaib Malik, the all-rounder from Pakistan, surprised his fans by announcing his third marriage to actor Sana Javed on Saturday. Confirming the news on his social media accounts, the 42-year-old wrote a brief caption along with a Quranic verse.

On X,Malik wrote, “Alhamdullilah” and added the Quranic verse, “And We created you in pairs.” This unexpected announcement left his fans and followers taken aback.

Shoaib Malik, a cricketer from Pakistan, recently made headlines by announcing his third marriage to actor Sana Javed. This revelation surprised many as Malik had previously been married to Indian tennis star Sania Mirza since 2010, and the couple has shared almost 14 years together. They also have a son named Izhaan Mirza Malik. Although there had been rumors circulating about the possibility of a divorce, neither Shoaib Malik nor Sania Mirza had officially confirmed such speculations.

On the other hand, Sana Javed, Malik’s new spouse, had previously tied the knot with singer Umair Jaiswal in 2020. Reports had circulated suggesting difficulties in their marriage, adding an additional layer of interest and curiosity to Malik’s latest announcement.

It’s worth noting that Shoaib Malik has been an enduring figure in Pakistani cricket, maintaining a remarkable career spanning over two decades. He made his international debut in 1999 against West Indies in Sharjah and has continued to contribute to the sport at the highest level.

In One Day Internationals (ODIs), Shoaib Malik boasts an impressive record, having played 287 matches, accumulating 7534 runs at an average of 34.55, and also showcasing his bowling prowess by taking 158 wickets.

While his Test career was relatively brief with 35 matches played, Malik left a mark by scoring 1898 runs at an average of 35.14. One of his notable performances was a career-best score of 245 against England in 2015 in the UAE. Additionally, he contributed with the ball, taking 32 wickets during his Test career.

In the fast-paced format of Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), Shoaib Malik demonstrated his versatility. He scored 2435 runs at an average of 31.21, boasting a strike rate of 125.64. His all-round capabilities were further highlighted as he also took 28 wickets in 49 innings.
