Sialkot business community announced $100,000 to the family of Sri Lankan manager

According to authorities, a mob in Sialkot tortured to death a Sri Lankan man who worked as a manager at a local plant over blasphemy claims before burning his body. Umar Saeed Malik, a Sialkot District Police Officer, identified the individual as Priyantha Kumara.

The “horrific, vigilante attack” on the factory and the burning alive of the Sri Lankan man, Prime Minister Imran Khan stated, “was a day of disgrace for Pakistan.”
