Side Mirrors on Motorcycle are now Mandatory in Sindh

In order to decrease traffic accidents, the Sindh Government has made it essential for motorcycles to be equipped with side mirrors. A meeting of the Sindh Cabinet, presided over by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, approved changes to the state’s traffic regulations.

According to the bike dealers, who responded enthusiastically to the provincial government’s effort, “the bike riders frequently refuse to take the side glasses with them when they buy the bikes.”

The motorcyclists also praised the government’s choice in terms of safety considerations, stating that it was a wise one.

Motorcyclists who do not have side mirrors on their motorcycles will be fined Rs500 under a new traffic regulation implemented by the Sindh government.
