The chief minister highlighted the vital role of livestock in supporting millions of families, particularly in rural communities where animals remain an important source of income, food security and financial stability.

During his visit, Murad Ali Shah inaugurated the newly established Pets Hospital and reviewed its medical infrastructure, including operation theatres, wards, recovery units and intensive care facilities.

He also inspected the institute’s new diagnostic bay, post-mortem hall and laboratory facilities, which are expected to strengthen disease detection, veterinary diagnosis and research capabilities.
