Sindh Govt Announces Public Holiday on 4th April

The Sindh government has declared a public holiday on April 4th to mark the death anniversary of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) founder, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

In an official announcement, the Sindh government said, “April 4th, 2024 (Thursday) will be a public holiday across Sindh to commemorate the 45th death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan.”

On this day, all government offices, as well as autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations and local councils under the Sindh government, will be closed. However, essential services will remain operational.

The Sindh government has declared April 1st as a public holiday for the Christian community to observe the “Day After Easter.” On this day, all public and private offices, as well as autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations under the Sindh government, will be closed.
