The Sindh government has introduced scholarships for six talented students to study at Oxford University through the Benazir Bhutto Graduate Scholarship program.
This decision was announced after a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed in London, with Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), in attendance. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah stated that three male and three female students will be awarded these scholarships every year.
The scholarships are designed to help students excel in fields like science, technology, and engineering. By offering these opportunities, the Sindh government aims to support higher education and provide students with access to one of the world’s top universities.
This initiative is part of the government’s broader plan to promote education and create better learning opportunities for deserving students. In addition to the Oxford scholarships, the Sindh government has also approved 3,157 new scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year. These scholarships will support students pursuing various academic disciplines.
Through these efforts, the Sindh government is investing in the future of young Pakistanis,
