Skills Todo and NearPeer Join Hands for a National Rollout of Skills in Demand

Skills Todo and NearPeer joined hands to serve the nation at scale with digital, employability, and ICT skills. The purpose of this collaboration is to make it easy for the youth and budding professionals in Pakistan to acquire skills that can help them be a part of the emerging gig economy or be more employable.

NearPeer has been one of the market leaders in EdTech, adding massive value to formal education by graduating some 350,000 students. While Skills Todo is an EdTech platform that provides bite-sized online courses on various digital, employability, and ICT skills with certificates on successful completion.

Now that NearPeer intends to diversify their courses portfolio with skill development, Skills Todo takes great pride in being an ally to fulfill this vision together. Both partners also envision bringing some internationally accredited certifications in the near future.

“In 2022 skills outweigh the degrees. We aim to enable the youth with the right skill set so they can compete with and complement both the local and international markets. Partnering up with a reputable organization like Skills Todo is not only a matter of great honor but will also empower us in making this journey smooth and productive.” says Ammar Ali Ayub Co-founder and CEO NearPeer.

Both the companies share a great passion to help fellow Pakistanis excel in their career and be able to make their mark with skills in demand. So we can anticipate that this collaboration comes as great news for those looking to upgrade their expertise within the quickest possible time.

“Ongoing skill development is synonymous with a promising career. Building on that vision to serve our youth and professionals, we are excited to partner up with NearPeer, one of the market leaders in EdTech. This collaboration is a stepping stone towards making a bigger impact together. In shaa Allah” says Ayesha Zaman Hammaad, Founder and CEO of Skills Todo.

Affordability is one of the key factors that both companies have kept in consideration so money should be the least excuse for someone to feel left behind. Also, with the world going digital rapidly, there is a lot for us to benefit from this opportunity, all we need is the right skill set to grab our chances.

29% of the population of Pakistan is between 15 – 29 years, which makes it some 66 million potential youth to join the marathon of success. With initiatives like these, we are hopeful that together we will give a chance to our people to rise up and contribute towards making this world a better place.
