Online personality Sneako has asked Rockstar Games to include a mosque in Grand Theft Auto 6, saying Muslim players should have a place to pray in the upcoming game.
Sneako suggested in a post on X after recent official footage showed more details of the game world. He pointed to the inclusion of strip clubs and argued that places of worship could also be represented in the virtual world. His comment has since attracted attention from GTA fans and Muslim gamers online.
GTA 6 is set in the fictional state of Leonida, with Vice City serving as its main urban location. Rockstar’s latest extended look showed a wide range of locations, activities, nightlife and characters across the game’s world. However, the company has not confirmed a mosque or a feature that would allow players to perform Islamic prayers.
Sneako’s suggestion has started a discussion about how different religions and cultures could be represented in the game’s large open world. There has been no public response from Rockstar Games to his request so far.
GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
