Special Planes Carrying 60 Tons Relief Goods from Saudi Arabia reach Karachi

Two aircrafts from Saudi Arabia carrying aids landed Karachi recently, in order to continue humanitarian relief assistance for flood affectees in Pakistan.

Aircraft was carrying approximately 60 tons of relief goods which includes tents, food packages, blankets, dates and kits from the King Salman Relief Centre.

However, the relief aid was handed over to the NDMA(National Disaster Management Authority) representative in Karachi.

As per the needs of each affected area, all the items will be distributed accordingly.

Moreover, Turkiye also shipped two “Kindness Trains” filled with goods for the affectees, which have submerged 1/3 of the country.

The 8th and 9th trains left the capital Ankara a day before having 1,040 tonnes of disaster relief goods, including food and hygiene products in it.

Earlier, first relief goods flight from Russia also arrived at Jinnah International Airport carrying food items, tents and water cleaning devices.

Moreover, Germany, Tajikistan and US also shipped flood aid for affectees. The aids includes urgently needed food, hygiene products and medical supplies.
