Sri Lankan Students Arrive in Pakistan to Pursue Higher Education

Twenty-six additional Sri Lankan students have arrived in Pakistan to pursue BS, MS, and PhD degrees at Pakistani universities through the Allama Iqbal Scholarships for Sri Lankan Students programme.

At Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore and Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, the students arrived.

The comprehensive educational initiative known as the “Pakistan-Sri Lanka Higher Education Cooperation Programme” includes several scholarships (HEC). All major fields, including medicine, engineering, and business studies, are eligible for scholarships.

Students were chosen through a competitive selection procedure while keeping in mind their fundamental eligibility requirements for enrollment at Pakistani public sector universities. The Lahore regional centre of the Higher Education Commission extended a cordial welcome to the newly arrived Sri Lankan researchers (HEC).
