Syed Zameer Shah Wins the Islamic Calligraphy Exhibition Competition in the United States of America

The US presidential award was earned by a Pakistani calligrapher.

Syed Zameer Shah, a resident of Haripur, received the $250 cash prize in the Islamic calligraphy exhibition competition held in the United States of America.

Famous calligraphers from 19 Islamic nations took part in the competition and displayed their works of art; Shah’s Islamic piece took first place and was also given a monetary reward.

Shah has previously placed in competitions for his works of art, which have been displayed in Islamic exhibitions held in a variety of nations, including Pakistan.

Shah is a well-known Islamic calligrapher with a distinctive style in Pakistani Islamic art, and his creative works are increasingly gaining acclaim on a global scale as well.

He is a school teacher by profession and is posted as a drawing master in a government school. He also expressed his desire to teach his art to the children.
