This in-person event took place at Royal Palm Golf and Country Club, Lahore, on December 16, 2021, and was attended by prominent business leaders, Systems’ dedicated clients, and eminent tech executives from Microsoft.
Javeria Fahad, Head of Marketing at Systems Limited, initiated the session by emphasizing the need to re-platform and transform existing business strategies and adopt the digital ways of the new era. The event focused on accelerating cross-organization collaboration with a range of powerful solutions and services by Microsoft, including Dynamics 365, Azure, Power Platform, etc.
Delivering the keynote speech, Asif Akram, COO at Systems Limited, honored Systems Limited’s long-standing partnership with Microsoft and thanked the attendees for their presence. Further, highlighting a tremendous shift in technological trends and how everything is converging around the cloud, Asif put forth a thought-provoking question – how would you innovate your enterprise?
Shoaib Khaleel, Head of Channel & Business Development at Microsoft Pakistan, took the stage and shared fundamental insights into leveraging Microsoft 365 for cost savings, driving business value, and gaining a competitive advantage. “Collaboration, security, and compliance are the building blocks of Microsoft’s modern workplace,” he stated.
Diving deep into the powerful and customer-centric ecosystem of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Ahsan Naseer, AVP Customer Platform & Power Platform, demonstrated use cases of how Systems Limited has leveraged Power Platform, MS Dynamics Customer Engagement, Microsoft .Net platform, and BI platforms to solve complex enterprise problems. He shed light upon how Microsoft’s suite is heavily invested in omnichannel experiences and claimed how no-code platforms of today are empowering citizen developers to design their applications.
Later, VP of Enterprise Services at Systems Limited, Ali Jawad Khalid, enlightened attendees with an understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Asset Management. He also gave a brief overview of Systems Limited’s ISV solutions, explaining how they fast-track business growth.
Talking about future-proofing applications for the cloud-native era and server-less trend, Talha Ghauri, MCC Application Development at Microsoft Pakistan, said, “Enterprises have started running mission-critical, containerized cloud-native applications. We are no more talking about IaaS. We have moved from virtualization and embraced PaaS.” He further posed enterprises must architect their applications to be server-less.
Shahid Aziz, AVP Cloud Services at Systems Limited, continued the discussion around digital transformation by highlighting the importance of a well-integrated cloud environment as it enables better enterprise security, low service maintenance, and automated financial governance.
