Telecom Companies Increase Mobile Call and Data Package Prices by Up to Rs 500

Mobile users across Pakistan are set to pay more for their telecom services after the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) approved revised tariffs, allowing mobile operators to increase the prices of call, SMS, and internet packages.

According to the updated pricing, the cost of several monthly packages has increased by as much as Rs. 500, while 15-day bundles have become up to Rs. 300 more expensive.

Weekly hybrid packages have also seen price hikes of up to Rs. 130, with a number of daily and short-duration bundles revised upward as well.

The PTA has issued updated tariff sheets outlining the new package prices, validity periods, and included services across various mobile operators.

Overall, many popular mobile plans have recorded an annual price increase ranging from 19% to 33%, resulting in higher communication costs for consumers nationwide.
