‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ Final Fight Sequence Secures Nomination at Prestigious US Stunt Awards

“The Legend of Maula Jatt,” directed by Bilal Lashari, has achieved yet another accolade. After becoming the highest-grossing Pakistani film, it has now received a nomination in the prestigious Best Fight category. This nomination recognizes the intense final battle scene between Maula and Noori, portrayed by Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi, respectively.

The film’s thrilling stunts, expertly choreographed by stunt coordinator Ian Van Temperley, put it in competition with strong contenders like “Everything Everywhere All at Once” and “The Gray Man.”

The Taurus World Stunt Awards honor the outstanding achievements of stunt performers in the global film industry. These awards, held annually in Los Angeles since 2001, have consistently celebrated excellence in the field.

Past winners in the Best Fight category include blockbuster Hollywood films like “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” “Kingsman,” “Fast and Furious 6,” “Inception,” and “The Avengers.” Now, “The Legend of Maula Jatt” aims to earn its place alongside these renowned films.
