The Legend of Maula Jatt, directed by Bilal Lashari and starring Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, and Hamza Ali Abbasi, is still going strong.

We say “still” because after smashing all sorts of box office records for a Pakistani film, it has now achieved another landmark. The Legend of Maula Jatt hits Rs. 110 crore in Pakistan.

On the last day of 2022, the film surpassed the unbelievable milestone of Rs 100 crore [$1 billion] in Pakistan. The Legend of Maula Jatt is a reboot of the 1979 cult classic Maula Jatt, re-imagining Punjab’s own superhero for a world audience.
