The Ministry of Information Technology Approves 7 Projects Worth Rs. 4.8Billion

The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication’s Departmental Development Working Party (DDWP) approved seven projects worth Rs. 4.8 billion on Thursday.

Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui, Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications, presided over a DDWP meeting on Thursday where development projects were reviewed and updated. Following extensive deliberation, the body granted approval to these initiatives, which were for various Ministry departments.

According to a Ministry spokesperson, these approved projects will not only pave the way for the Prime Minister’s Digital Pakistan vision to be realized, but will also ensure the training of over 22,000 youths and the development of over 5000 jobs, in addition to providing broadband services on the Karakoram Highway and the establishment of IT institutions.
