There’s A Crying Need For Long Term Planning: PM

Prime Minister Imran Khan emphasized the importance of long-term planning in Pakistan, claiming that previous governments had failed to prepare in every field.

Imran went on to say that Pakistan’s economy was growing in 1968, and the country was swiftly developing, but that the country’s long-term planning was inadequate.

“We have to accomplish work today that should have been done 50 years ago,” Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stated during the introduction of Pakistan’s first Green Eurobond (Indus Bond), which was issued by the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA).

The premier also praised WAPDA’s administration for laying up plans to construct ten dams over the next ten years.
