‘These Kids are our Family Members’, Waseem Badami Responds to Backlash after Inviting Child Vloggers

Popular anchorperson and host Waseem Badami has been facing criticism after inviting child vloggers to his Ramazan transmission. The recent addition of Shiraz, a popular child vlogger from Gilgit Baltistan, has sparked a debate among viewers about the pressures of fame on young talents.

Actor Mishi Khan initially raised the concerns. She expressed her worries on Instagram, questioning the need to expose young talents to fame. In response to the backlash during a live transmission, Badami defended his decision. He explained that he treats these children like his own family members.

Waseem Badami said,

“I told their parents two weeks ago that I would treat these kids like my own children, and I meant it. I am a parent myself and believe in karma.”

Badami stressed that the children enjoy participating in the show without any pressure or expectations. He also added that he takes full responsibility for their participation and well-being.
However, Badami’s response has been well-received by many, with viewers appreciating his efforts to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
