Thieves Looted 10 kg Minced Meat (Qeema) in Karachi

In an unusual incident in Karachi’s Liaquatabad area, two robbers targeted a butcher for an unexpected item—10 kilograms of minced meat. Surprisingly, they left his cash and mobile phone untouched.

The incident occurred early in the morning when the butcher was on his way to his shop, carrying a large quantity of minced meat. Suddenly, two masked men stopped him at gunpoint. Instead of asking for cash or valuables, they demanded the meat he was transporting. The butcher, shocked and frightened, handed over the minced meat without resistance.

Once the robbers had the meat, they quickly fled the scene, leaving the butcher unharmed but confused. They did not bother to take any money or his mobile phone, which are typically the main targets during such robberies.

The strange choice of stealing minced meat instead of valuables left the butcher bewildered and unable to understand the robbers’ motive. This bizarre act has drawn attention due to its unusual nature, as thefts in the area usually involve cash, phones, or other expensive items.

Residents in the area have expressed surprise over the incident, with some speculating on why the robbers specifically targeted the minced meat. Some believe rising inflation and food prices could have pushed people towards such desperate actions.

While no harm came to the victim, the robbery serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of crime. Authorities have yet to determine the robbers’ identities or motives, but the incident highlights the challenges residents face amid economic struggles.
