Every digital agency in Pakistan runs on tools built somewhere else. HubSpot, Hootsuite, SEMrush, Ahrefs — the stack that powers the Pakistani marketing industry was assembled in San Francisco, Amsterdam, and London, priced in dollars, and designed for markets that look nothing like ours. For most agency owners, that has just been the deal.
Roshan Ejaz decided to change it.
Ejaz is the founder and CEO of Emergent Media, a digital agency with offices in both Dubai and Lahore. Over the past year, while his team was managing active client campaigns across the UAE and Pakistan, he was building something else entirely: EmergentOS, a proprietary agentic AI platform for marketing operations. The platform officially launched in Pakistan in August 2026.
It is, to the founding team’s knowledge, the first AI agent platform for marketing built and owned by an independent agency in the Pakistan-UAE region.
What “Agentic” Actually Means — And Why It Matters
The AI tools most Pakistani marketers and agency teams have encountered so far fall into two categories: dashboards with AI-generated insights, and chatbots that answer questions. Both are advisory. They tell you what is happening and what you might consider doing about it.
EmergentOS is built on a different premise. Its agents do not just advise — they act.
The platform has three agents. BOOST manages Meta and Google advertising campaigns: it monitors performance around the clock, detects budget inefficiencies, and can execute optimisation changes with the user’s approval. WEBCARE handles SEO and website health — and when it finds a broken link or a failing Core Web Vital, it does not file a report. It identifies the correct fix, edits the code directly in your WordPress, WooCommerce, or Shopify installation, and logs exactly what it changed. ENGAGE covers social media: scheduling content, writing captions, and responding to comments and DMs in real time across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
Every action by every agent goes through human approval before execution. The platform keeps a full audit trail. Nothing happens without the user knowing — and nothing significant happens without the user saying yes.
“This is not a chatbot. It is not a dashboard with an AI badge on it,” said Ejaz. “These are agents that act — that can create campaigns, fix your website, respond to your customers, and show you exactly what they did and why. That is a fundamentally different relationship with technology.”
Built by Pakistanis, for This Market
The founding team behind EmergentOS is four people. Roshan Ejaz leads as CEO. Ahsan Khan, Faisal Ayub, and Khurram Saleem co-founded the platform with him. Each brings a background in digital marketing and agency operations from inside the Pakistani and UAE markets — not from a distance.
That proximity to the problem is what the team says makes the platform different.
“The biggest challenge for digital marketing teams in Pakistan is not a lack of skill — it is a lack of tools that work for us,” said Ahsan Khan, Co-Founder. “EmergentOS is the first platform we have built from the ground up with Pakistani agencies and brands in mind. We know the workflows, the budget constraints, the client expectations. That knowledge is built into the product.”
For Faisal Ayub, the value proposition is about what AI agents give back to agency teams rather than what they replace. “Agencies in Pakistan are under the same pressure as agencies everywhere — do more, do it faster, do it with fewer people. AI agents are not a replacement for that team. They are the amplifier. The BOOST Agent alone can handle the daily monitoring and optimisation work that currently takes a media buyer hours every day. That time goes back to strategy, to client relationships, to growth.”
The fourth co-founder, Khurram Saleem, pointed to transparency as the product’s core trust mechanism. “What makes EmergentOS different from every other marketing tool available in Pakistan is that it does not just tell you what to do — it does it. And it does it transparently, with your permission, with a complete record of every action taken.”
The Structural Problem They Are Solving
Pakistan’s digital advertising market is significant and growing. Over 70 million Pakistanis are active on social media. Meta and Google absorb the large majority of brand advertising budgets. E-commerce — driven by Daraz, D2C brands, and cross-border trade — has pushed demand for sophisticated digital marketing capability well beyond what most local tools support.
At the same time, the tools that could meet that demand are priced in USD, supported by teams that have no presence in Pakistan, and built for market conditions — CPC benchmarks, platform behaviour, client relationships — that bear little resemblance to what Pakistani agencies navigate daily. As the rupee has depreciated, the cost of maintaining a standard SaaS stack has become a meaningful overhead for independent agencies.
EmergentOS is priced for the Pakistani market and offers PKR billing. The team does not see themselves competing with global martech giants by undercutting on price. They are competing by being different in kind — built here, supported from here, by people who know what Pakistani agencies and brands actually need.
A Commercial Launch, Not a Pilot
The platform is live. EmergentOS is fully operational at emergentos.io, with the app interface at app.emergentos.io. The team is clear that this is a commercial launch — not a beta, not a waitlist, not a soft pilot. They have been running the platform with clients and are ready for broader market deployment.
For Pakistan’s startup and tech community, the significance of EmergentOS extends beyond what the product does. It is a Pakistani-founded team building proprietary AI infrastructure — not reselling someone else’s API wrapper, not white-labelling a US SaaS product, but building and owning the platform from the ground up.
“One of the things I am most proud of is that this is genuinely a Pakistani-built product,” said Khan. “The team, the thinking, the understanding of the market — it is ours. Pakistan has produced extraordinary technology talent for decades. It is time we started directing some of that talent at solving our own industry’s problems.”
