Following Saudi Arabia’s decision to abolish all COVID restrictions, tens of thousands of worshippers attended Friday prayers at Masjid-al-Haram and Masjid e Nabvi (SAW).
Thousands of people attended Friday prayers at the Masjid al-Haram after officials removed limits on social distance, COVID immunisation, and other precautions, according to details.
As special prayers were said during Friday prayers, the Mataf, the open white space directly around the Kaaba where tawaf takes place, remained packed.
Visitors were also allowed to see Maqam e Ibrahim, according to the officials.
