Thousands of Pakistanis Formed a Human Chain Hailing UN designation of March 15 as Anti- Islamophobia Day.

On Thursday, a huge number of Pakistanis made a human chain to offer their thanks to the United Nations for laying out March 15 as International Day to Combat Islamophobia.

The social affair was held in Punjab’s Jhang area under the protection of the Muslim Institute, an Islamabad-based think organization that has long gone against Islamophobia.

The members, wearing white shalwar-kameez (long shirt and free pants), played out a few developments arriving at 100 feet (30 meters) long and width, including “Thank You UN” and “Islam is Peace.”

Around the UN seal, banners from 57 Muslim nations were unmistakably shown.
