On Change.com, petitions to prevent Amazon’s millionaire founder Jeff Bezos from returning to Earth have gathered tens of thousands of signatures.
Over 45,000 people have signed petitions opposing the billionaire’s return to space.
On June 7, Bezos announced that he and his brother Mark would take the first crewed space trip from Blue Origin, his rocket business.
The petitions “Do not allow Jeff Bezos to return to Earth” and “Petition To Not Allow Jeff Bezos Re-Entry To Earth” were established just days after the announcement.
