Barrister Muhammad Ali, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, recently inaugurated a three-day snow festival in the Galiyat.
Speaking on the occasion, he stated that the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is working to boost tourism in the province by expanding facilities at famous tourist destinations.
He also mentioned that potential new tourist destinations are being surveyed in order to promote both domestic and international tourism.
Hiking, survival camp, sculpture building, tug of war, paintball tournaments, archery, snow tubing, and a quad bike race are among the activities and contests which will bd organized at the festival, as per a Galiyat Development Authority official.
Further, the event will also include a live music concert featuring singers such as Raheel Abbas and Bilal Saeed, as well as the Khumariyan band will also perform.
