TikTokers prohibited from entering all public parks in Punjab

Following the Minar-e-Pakistan incident, the Punjab Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) banned TikTokers from entering all public parks on Sunday.

The decision was reached at a meeting of PHA officials on Sunday in Lahore.

All Tiktokers must obtain authorization from the relevant PHAs before entering parks, according to a PHA statement.

Furthermore, the PHA is considering prohibiting groups of more than two men from entering public parks.

The restriction was issued following a recent harassment incident at Minar-e-Pakistan, in which a female TikToker was harassed by more than 400 males on Independence Day at Greater Iqbal Park.

So far, 130 people have been arrested, with 40 of them being identified thanks to videos from the Minar-e-Pakistan incident.
