NADRA centers are introducing new facilities including renewal of national identity cards at post offices without waiting in long lines, in Karachi.
With these services you can conveniently handle these tasks at your local post office, including the renewal of identity cards, changing marital status, and issuing replacements for lost ID cards, while home address, signature and photograph can also be changed.
Counters have been set up in 10 General Post Offices (GPOs) in Karachi to provide facilities for national identity cards where devices are directly connected to the NADRA system.
Note: The post offices do not offer the biometric facility for blood relation verification. Additionally, the renewal form must be processed by a 16th-grade officer, and the facilities for PRC and (b) form issuance are not available at post offices.
