Tobacco Company of Pakistan is ready to set a BPO Organization Hub resulting in 3000+ jobs in the country

In a recent remarkable development that has been shared by the Adviser to the PM- Prime Minister of Pakistan for the Commerce and Investment, PTC- Pakistan Tobacco Company is soon going to set up a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) organization hub resulting in 3000+ job opportunities in Pakistan in the next five years from now.

Pakistan is predicting to give tough competition to countries like Bangladesh, India, and many others by continuously making efforts to get approval for the establishment of the BPO hub in Pakistani regions. It is expected that it will bring around $100 million per annum from the foreign exchange earnings.

BPO is a process of outsourcing the operations and also the responsibilities to a third-party vendor. The British American Tobacco (BAT) and the PTC are amongst those companies in the region that also have their interest in the region; this has other companies to invest in the country.

According to the Advisor, it is the first BPO Hub in Pakistan after several years that show the investor interest is more and increasing in Pakistan. The development is in line or aligned with the terms of the state bank of Pakistan (SBP) earlier announcement, and despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Pakistan’s industries are showing some promising signs of successful growth in the regions of Pakistan.
