Recently, a meeting was scheduled among the top brass of Pakistani military.
As per Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), national security and defence of country was discussed in a meeting.
Meeting was held at Joint Staff Headquarters (JSHQ) which was chaired by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza including all the services chiefs in attendance, as per sources.
Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu also attended the meeting.
As per ISPR, national security situation specific to the western border, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan was discussed in details in the meeting.
They showed complete satisfaction and confidence over the defence forces of Pakistan keeping in mind the recent terrorist events.
They further highlighted the resolve of the armed forces to reply to the whole spectrum of threats in the most suitable manner with security strategies.
The armed top bigwigs appreciated the sacrifices of security agencies against terrorism fight.
Other than this they also had a discussion over the rapid development in the realm of strategies and conventional policies.
They also shared their views on importance of peace in Afghanistan for incessant development and the operational mobility of armed forces.
