Toyota has become a household name in Pakistan, owing to the Indus Motor Company’s (IMC) substantial presence in the country’s automotive industry.
On April 1, the company announced that it had reached its highest monthly production volume since 1993. Although it has not reported how many units it made, the argument appears to be important because the company has been reporting astronomical sales figures since resuming operations following the first wave of the pandemic in Pakistan.
The Toyota Yaris, a brand-new offering from Toyota IMC, has been outselling several famous vehicles, like the Honda City and Civic, as well as larger models like the Toyota Corolla, Fortuner, and Hilux, which are all market leaders in their segments.
